On September 22, 2018 the staff of the State Migration Service visited Garabaghlar Tomb Complex.

It was informed that Garabaghlar Tomb Complex situated in Garabaghlar village of Kangarli region and belonging to the XII-XIV centuries is a continuation of the architectural school of Ajami Nakhchivani, an example of the outstanding architect, Ahmad Nakhchivani's creativity and our statehood heritage and cultural wealth that we hand down the present and next generations.

It was noted that, Garabaghlar Tomb Complex, one of the rare samples of Turkic-Islamic culture was restored on scientific and historical basis in accordance with the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated July 4, 2016 "On Restoration and Investigation of Garabaghlar Tomb Complex" and on July 5, 2018 Garabaghlar Tomb Complex was put into operation after restoration. Garabaghlar Tomb Complex consists of twin minarets and head-span that connects them, khanagah and a tomb. Garabaghlar Tomb is the basis of the complex. Garabaghlar Tomb Complex underwent demolition by the lapse of time. The historical appearance of the monument has been preserved during restoration.

It was informed that, exhibits consisting of the ancient household items reflecting life style of our people, the material-cultural samples discovered during archeological excavations in the territory are demonstrated in the khanagah part of the complex. Earthenware and copper things, weaving samples reflecting the history of our people, customs and traditions create a full impression about the welfare culture of our people. The photographs of the Garabaghlar Tomb Complex before and after the restoration, as well as the paintings on the "Garabaghlar Tomb" painted on canvas, the books reflecting the history of Nakhchivan and information about the Garabaghlar Tomb Complex are also demonstrated at the exposition.
